Keeping Website content up to date

It is important to keep your website up to date – not just for the sake of Google and search engine optimisation, but perhaps more importantly for the sake of your customers.
Here is a something I came across – they shall remain annoymous.
I was walking past a shop and saw a special offer – I was impressed that looked good, but not wishing to buy on impulse thought I would go home and think about it.
When I got home I wasn’t sure if I had remembered correctly – so I thought I would double check on their website. It does say on their home page
Stay updated with our news and special offers … come back and visit regularly
So I was quite confident I could find out the information – sadly nothing on the home page, and nothing on their special offers page.
Their special offers relate to October and November as we are currently in August I can only assume they haven’t kept their website up to date.
Shame that.
