Whilst sorting through my old paperwork I came across a print out from an article written by Tony Karp of TLC Systems Corp on 31 December 2002.
He is talking about what is web publishing and he says that it is not a TV show.
… the web is very limited in what you can show. And it will be a long time before the web can handle the kind of sound and motion you see on TV.
Not sure how long the iPlayer has been in use, but certainly in just 8 years it has become the norm for some people to watch their TV programmes on-line.
